Thirty-two current Anaheim Jr. Ducks players, spanning four birth years, have been selected to attend the USA Hockey Pacific District Youth Player Development Camp in Las Vegas in May and the Western Region High Performance Camp in Colorado Springs in June.
Four more players were chosen as alternates.
The group heading to Las Vegas on May 9-12 includes eight 2002 birth years, along with two alternates, five 2003s and 11 2004s. Eight 2005s, along with two alternates, were selected for the WRHPC in Colorado Springs on June 15-20.
“That’s a healthy number for the club, especially the 04s and 05s,” Jr. Ducks Director of Player Personnel Alex Kim said. “It’s great to see all of these players move on in this process. It speaks well of the club’s development with our younger players.”
