Jr. Ducks 14U AA-1 goaltender David Vizcarra helped the Mexico Development Program capture the 14U championship at the Amerigol LATAM Cup in Coral Springs, Fla., in late August.

Vizcarra went 3-1-1 with a 1.71 goals-against average. He allowed just eight goals in five games in the tournament, which brings together teams from non-traditional markets all over the world annually at the Florida Panthers' practice facility.

Vizcarra made 12 saves to shut out HPOC, 4-0, in the U14 final on Aug. 24.

The tournament, which began in 2018, has grown from five teams to more than 50. It includes seven divisions — U12, U14, U16, men's divisions I, II, and III, as well as a women's division.
