Former Jr. Ducks Noah Davidson and Odin Vauhkonen helped Team USA win the Under-17 Five Nations Tournament in Pieštany, Slovakia, on Aug. 18.

Davidson scored two goals in the final game, including the winner during an extra-attacker situation in the 4-3 U.S. victory against host Slovakia. He led the tournament with four goals.

He and Vauhkonen were among 20 players selected to the Under-17 Men's Select Team.

The selections, announced July 15, came upon the conclusion of the USA Hockey Boys National 16 Player Development camp. Nine former Jr. Ducks attended that camp.

Davidson is a 6-foot-2, 188-pound forward, while Vauhkonen is a 6-1, 185-pound defenseman. Vauhkonen played for the club through 14U in 2021-22.

Both players were selected in the USHL Phase I Draft in May for 2008 birth years. Davidson was a first-round choice by Waterloo, while Vauhkonen was a seventh-round pick by Youngstown.
