Lady Ducks Director Kristi Kehoe has been selected as the USA Hockey representative to participate in the second annual Women's Hockey Partnership for Progress (WHPP) event in Klagenfurt, Austria, on April 19-21.

The event, for girls 18 and younger, will combine on-ice learning with off-ice workshops. The goal is to provide female hockey players from Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia with a broad-based education, including skill development, strategies and mental preparation.

Kehoe is one of six experts teaching at the festival. She will be joined by Alexia Cheyroux of France, Erika Holst of Sweden, Saut Kiipelli of Finland, Katie Pasanen of Finland and Florence Schelling of Switzerland. All have extensive playing and coaching experience in international competitions.

Kehoe has more than 28 years of playing and coaching experience. She played at Northeastern University, where she was the Huskies' leading scorer in three of her four seasons. She has coached at the NCAA Division I and III levels, as well as internationally. Kehoe was the Director of Player Development for USA Hockey's New England District for eight years and worked at several of the governing body's development camps.

More information about the event is available at the Women's Hockey Partnerships for Progress website
