A quartet of former Jr. Ducks made NHL Central Scouting's final rankings for the 2024 Entry Draft. The rankings were announced April 16. 

Defensemen Zeev Buium, Will Skahan and Tanner Henricks and forward Chase Stefanek made the list. 

Buium, who helped the University of Denver capture the NCAA championship on Saturday, remained as the fourth-ranked North American skater. The 6-foot, 183-pounder led all Division I defensemen with 50 points and won a gold medal with Team USA at the 2024 World Junior Championship.  He projects as a high first-round NHL pick. 

Skahan, a University of Wisconsin commit, moved up to No. 56 from 58 in the mid-term rankings. The 6-foot-4, 209-pounder had 12 points in 52 games for the U.S. National Team Development Program's Under-18 team. He projects as a second-to-third-round pick. 

Henricks, a St. Cloud State commit who played for the Jr. Ducks 16U AAA team during the 2022-23 season, experienced the biggest move up, going from 104th at mid-term to 79th. A 6-3, 192-pounder, he has nine assists in 59 games for Lincoln of the United States Hockey League. Henricks projects as a third-to-fourth-round selection. 

Stefanek, a Harvard commit, came in a 166th. A 6-1, 188-pounder, he has 35 points in 54 games for Trail of the British Columbia Hockey League.  He projects as a sixth-to-seventh-round selection. 

The Jr. Ducks have had 14 players drafted by NHL teams, including three in 2023. That latter group included Henricks' older brother Ty, whom the New York Rangers picked in the sixth round.
