The Anaheim Lady Ducks, the premier girls’ hockey program in the western United States, are pleased to announce their Tier I coaches, as well as the dates for tryouts for the 2020-21 season. All Tier I tryouts will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 29-31, 2020.
In addition to their lengthy track record of team success, which includes having teams qualify for the Tier I USA Hockey Nationals every season since 2005, the Lady Ducks place players at NCAA Division I and III schools at three times the rate of other girls’ programs in USA Hockey. To date, more than 140 girls have moved on to college hockey, including Annie Pankowski, who captained Wisconsin to the 2019 NCAA championship and was a finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Award, and Cayla Barnes, a 2018 Olympian and Boston College standout.
Entering their 21st season, the Lady Ducks have staff dedicated to college prep and annually make multiple trips to well-scouted tournaments in the East and Upper Midwest. In addition, the Lady Ducks hosted the Tier I Nationals in 2019 and will host the Tier II Nationals in 2021. Not only are the Lady Ducks the largest program west of the Mississippi River, but the club is highly effective at helping its hard-working student-athletes find a proper fit for their academic goals and athletic compete level.
