The JR GULLS SKILLS DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY is designed for serious hockey players to develop skating, shooting, passing, checking and gameplay skills.
The Skills Development Academy also includes 3 vs 3 games that puts players in the middle of the action all the time and keeps goaltenders on their toes.
It’s recommended that your player attend all ten weeks to fully benefit from the Skills Development Academy and 3 vs 3 sessions. This Academy is designed to keep your player on the ice twice a week at an affordable price with maximum benefit. Registration priority will be given to players who register for all sessions

COST: Players: $450 / Goalies: free (must commit and sign up to attend all skills and 3 v 3 sessions).

The HIGHSCHOOL HIGH TEMPO SKILLS CLINIC will focus on improving the overall skills for the competitive athlete. These sessions will be full ice and are designed to be fast paced so athletes will get multiple reps in every drill forcing the athlete to use the skills being taught. Challenging the athlete to work outside their comfort zone will allow for better results.
Dates: March 10, 17, 24, 31 & April 7, 14 21 & 28

Cost: $280 for all sessions or $40 drop in

The San Diego Jr. Gulls will be putting together tournament teams to play over the Memorial Day Holiday weekend. If you are interested in joining one of the teams, please submit your interest HERE, no later than Sunday, March 31st. The coaches will then meet, discuss the players, and place the players on teams for the tournament the following week.
LEVELS FIELDING: A/BB/B for 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U A/AA & 16AA
TOURNAMENT: Great Park Ice Memorial Day Shootout Tournament – May 23th - 27th. 8U teams will be Riverside/ Carlsbad if needed
The Jr Gulls philosophy with the Memorial Weekend Tournaments is to have the players have a fun competitive weekend of hockey. This also provides the coaches an opportunity to see the players in game action to help evaluate the players for the 2024-2025 season. The goal with every season is to have the players and teams playing not just at the highest level, but have them playing at the right level, for the player’s enjoyment, development, team success and growth. Regardless of the level the players are placed on for the Spring Tournament, it will be up to the player to show the coaches and evaluators their best personal ability on and off the ice to help a team.

10U, 12U, 14U - $350 (A/BB/B)
14U, 16U -- $375 (AA)

OPEN TO BIRTH YEARS 2015 through 2010
Hockey is a physical sport and body contact is a skill that must be learned and practiced. Teaching players the proper techniques and positioning will help them avoid injury in game situations. This clinic is designed to help your player be safe on the ice.
