Congratulations to Sandy Gasseau’s Lakewood Jr Ducks 2009/2010 for taking gold in the Carmen Star Tournament this past Memorial Holiday Weekend at TSC, in the 2009 AAA Elite division. The team went undefeated all weekend, and defeated the very strong Arizona Hockey Union team in the Championship game, with a final score of 9-7. The players played very poised all the way through, even after being down by a goal after the first period of the championship game; they stayed focus and strong.  Congratulations to the players, the parents, and the coaches; Sandy and assistants: Pat Angeles, and Veronique Gasseau.
